U.S. Steel Rebar Final Imports: Final rebar imports to the U.S. came in at 162,223 tons for the month of March 2022, up 5.8% m/m. Algeria was the largest exporter of rebar with 64,506 tons this month (40%). The Houston-Galveston, TX port was the largest receiver of rebar this month, receiving 40,898 tons.

U.S. Steel Merchant Final Imports: Final merchant imports to the U.S. came in at 52,448 tons in March 2022, increasing 36% month over month (m/m). Mexico and Canada, combined, account for 93% of the total this month. Mexico was the largest exporter to the U.S. with 25,531 tons; Canadian imports came in at 23,321 tons. Laredo, TX was the largest receiver of merchants this month, receiving 19,734 tons of the total.

U.S. Fabricated Beam Final Imports: Final fabricated beam imports to the U.S. came in at 70,825 tons in March 2022, increasing 81% month over month (m/m). Mexico was the largest exporter of fabricated beams with 18,254 tons this month (26%). The New Orleans, LA port was the largest receiver of fabricated beams this month, receiving 14,635 tons.
