July’s ABI national overall score of 50.1 was up 1.0 point from June’s 49.1, which is slightly over the expansionary zone, (>50). U.S. architecture firms reported increasing firm billings for the month is just slightly higher than the share that reported decreasing billings.
June’s ABI national overall score of 49.1 was down 1.1 points from May’s 50.2, which is slightly under the expansionary zone, (>50). U.S. architecture firms with emphasis on commercial and industrial architect reported exceptional strong billings.
Total U.S. construction spending continued to perform well in June 2019, especially in the state and local sector.
