U.S. Steel Beam Final Imports: Final beam imports to the U.S. came in at 38,840 tons for November 2021, up 167% since last month.

­U.S. Steel Capacity Utilization: The total tonnage for the week ending December 25th was 1.802 million net tons, at a capacity utilization rate of 81.6%. The year-to-date tonnage output is 94.185 million net tons, at an average capacity utilization rate of 81.1%. In 2020, the same output total was 78.758 million net tons, at an average capacity utilization of 67.0%.

U.S. Capacity Utilization was 75.2% in September, up 1.0% month on month (m/m). On a year on year (y/y) comparison, the capacity utilization was a modest +16.2%.
