U.S. Capacity Utilization scored a 71.1% in July, up 3.5% month on month, (m/m) – its third monthly increasing for the year. Mexico Capacity Utilization scored a 72.9% in July, up 10.1% month on month, (m/m) – its third monthly increasing for the year. Canada Capacity Utilization scored a 70.3% in July, down 11.9% quarter on quarter (Q/Q).
Oil and Gas Rotary Rig Counts:  The total number of operating rigs in the U.S. the week as of September 25th was 183 oil and 75 gas (totaling 258). In percentage terms, on a month on month, (m/m) basis, oil rigs were up 1.7% and gas up 4.2%.
Oil and Gas Rotary Rig Counts:  The total number of operating rigs in Canada the week as of September 25th was 33 oil and 38 gas (totaling 71). In percentage terms, on a month on month, (m/m) basis, oil rigs were up 73.7 and gas up 8.6%.
U.S. Steel Capacity Utilization: The total tonnage for the week ending September 26th was 1,480 million net tons, at a capacity utilization rate of 66.1%. The year to date tonnage output is 58,477 million net tons, at an average capacity utilization rate of 65.8%. In 2019, the same output total was 76,574 million net tons, at an average capacity utilization of 80.9%.

U.S. Steel Capacity Utilization: The total tonnage for the week ending August 29th was 1,383 million net tons, at a capacity utilization rate of 61.7%. The year to date tonnage output is 52,664 million net tons, at an average capacity utilization rate of 66.0%.
Oil and Gas Rotary Rig Counts:  The total number of operating rigs in the U.S. the week of August 28th was 180 oil and 72 gas (totaling 252). In percentage terms, on a month on month (m/m) basis, oil rigs were neutral and gas was up 4.3%.
